I've got my hands on the KD3 retro again, and the Christmas colorway is way too flashy—there's no way to stay low-key when you're wearing these. The upper is mostly yellow but features two different materials. The toe and the frame are mostly made of suede, so be careful with scratches as they might be hard to remove. The middle part of the shoe is made of patent leather, which doesn't involve much bending, so it should maintain its shine. The entire upper is thin but very strong, lightweight, and offers good support. Just make sure to tie the laces properly, as the thin nylon tongue tends to roll up if not secured, which can feel uncomfortable. It would be perfect if the tongue had elastic bands on both sides connecting to the midsole. The outsole is an oxidized translucent design, providing excellent grip and stickiness. The overall base is stable and well-structured, making it great for sports.
