These shoes have both clear pros and cons. The pros are that they are very durable and easy to keep clean, plus the foot feel is really energetic, making them great for playing basketball. However, the cons are that they have a heavy feeling when worn, and the tongue of the shoe tends to press against the top of the foot, which took some time to adjust properly. Definitely not recommended for running—you'll end up with sore legs after just one run.

I'm 5'7" and 148 lbs. The shoes are soft and bouncy, with a front air cushion that's great for heavier individuals. It's best to play indoors, as playing on concrete might cause the air cushion to burst. The shoes aren't very breathable, making them more suitable for winter. I recommend these for someone around 180 lbs who prioritizes comfort.

Ordered yesterday and it arrived today—super fast delivery! The size fits just right, true to size. The ankle area is a bit narrow, so it might feel tight for those with wider feet. The color is a bright red, not a dark shade, and it really catches the eye. If you wear these to the court, you'll definitely stand out as the coolest player there. Haven't played in them yet, but they feel really comfortable. Honestly, wearing these shoes makes me feel like I don't deserve them—they're just too good, haha!

This is my third pair of Kobe 9 Elite. The high-top design offers great protection for the Achilles and ankles, but compared to other Kobe low-top models, it sacrifices some flexibility and that ultra-close-to-the-ground feel. These shoes are better suited for heavier players who prioritize protection, especially forwards. The carbon fiber plate on the side provides solid support but does limit foot movement a bit and can feel a little intrusive. The cushioning doesn't use Zoom Air, so the responsiveness isn't as explosive or aggressive. The traction is solid for indoor courts, but I wouldn't recommend using them extensively outdoors. I really like the Christmas colorway—it's bold and vibrant. Overall, it's a solid pair of shoes.
