This is a really good pair of guard-specific basketball shoes with both strengths and weaknesses. The outsole features Cementbuster technology, which makes them exceptionally durable—you can see that from the pictures. However, their grip suffers on dusty courts, though it's decent on regular surfaces. The materials used are very generous, but I don't think it's necessary to go that heavy on the build. It has a full inner boot design, but it leaves my entire ankle exposed, which feels a bit insecure. The ankle lockdown isn't great. As for the fit, there are two small pads at the heel, which provide decent heel lockdown, but the forefoot feels loose. When I tighten the laces, the top feels too open, and if I don't tighten them enough, the shoe feels too wide. For arch support, I think it's fine for most people. The cushioning works well for guards, but it might not be ideal for heavier forwards or centers. The forefoot is very thin, which makes for a quick first step, but the rear is quite stiff, possibly due to too much TPU. They could remove some TPU from the heel side to improve the responsiveness.
